One Standard, From One Salon to a Hotel Group
We started in 2017 because small operators were being locked into contracts they could not get out of. We have since grown into hotel groups, hospital systems, universities and stadium-scale events — without changing how any of it is run.
Laundry delivered for teams, campuses, studios, and the world’s biggest stages
What is OrangeBag?
OrangeBag is a commercial laundry and linen service founded in Los Angeles in 2017. We collect the linens, towels and uniforms a business runs on, launder them offsite to an agreed standard, and return them in full on a schedule you set.
We began by serving the businesses the industry treated as too small to bother with properly. That is still who we are built for — and it is also why scaling up was straightforward. A program that holds for a four-chair salon on a bad week holds for a 400-room property on its worst one.
The contract nobody could get out of
Coffee shops, hair salons, gyms and spas were being pushed into three-to-five-year laundry agreements. We thought that was backwards, so we built the opposite.
Three to five years, signed up front
The pitch was a package and a long term, and the details that mattered arrived later.
- Long lock-ins, with renewal clauses that ran on their own
- Preset service tiers, whether or not they fit the business
- Rates discussed verbally and documented afterwards
- Small accounts treated as too small to service properly
Under three years, documented first
One operating standard, sized to whatever you actually run — up or down.
- Agreement terms under three years, with a trial period first
- Programs built per account rather than sold from a tier
- Pricing documented in writing before anything is signed
- One standard, whether you run one site or forty
The made-for-you model
Most commercial laundries sell packages. We build the program around your operation instead, which is why two businesses on the same street rarely end up with the same one.
Why it works that way
We source the linens and towels to suit your operation and build the schedule around them, rather than fitting you to a tier that already exists.
It is a slower way to sell and a better way to serve. It is also why the quote takes a conversation rather than a form field.
Set per account, not per tier
- The linens and towels themselves, sourced to your standard
- Pickup days and frequency
- Turnaround commitment
- Finishing, folding and any separation you require
- How pickups and deliveries are documented
Six values, and what each one costs us
Values are easy to print. These are the ones that change what we do when they are inconvenient.
Trust
Pickups and deliveries are documented both ways so nobody has to take anyone’s word for it. Trust is a record, not a promise.
Respect
The smallest account gets what the largest one gets. A four-chair salon and a 400-room hotel are held to the same standard, because we only run one.
Own It
When something goes wrong, someone here owns it and says so. No routing you to a queue to find out who is responsible.
Find A Way
Odd item, tight window, unusual finishing requirement — the answer starts as a question about how, not a policy about why not.
Integrity
Pricing is documented before signing, and the number on the invoice is the number on the quote.
Environmental Friendliness
Non-toxic, eco-friendly products throughout, and an electric delivery fleet across our California operations.
We own the plant, and that sets the standard
OrangeBag owns and operates its plant in Los Angeles, staffed by full-time employees. It is where the operating standard is written and where every other market is measured against it. Outside California, work is handled by a facility closer to you, run to that same standard.
Capacity scales with the account rather than the other way round. A portfolio spanning several properties, or several states, runs on one account with one point of contact and one invoice — the routing changes on our side, not yours.
Five regions, one standard
Los Angeles is the plant. Everywhere else is served by a facility close to the work, held to what the plant sets.
California
Our headquarters state, and the only one where we own and operate the plant. Six markets from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara.
Commercial laundry in California →Texas
Four major metros — Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio — each served by a facility close to it.
Commercial laundry in Texas →Central Florida
Orlando out to Tampa Bay and both coasts, in the busiest tourism corridor in the country.
Commercial laundry in Central Florida →Washington DC
The District, Northern Virginia and the Maryland suburbs — three jurisdictions on one account.
Commercial laundry in Washington DC →Atlanta
Intown out to the full ring of suburbs, anchored by the airport corridor that never has an off season.
Commercial laundry in Atlanta →Somewhere else?
If your address sits outside these regions, send it over. We will tell you plainly whether we can serve it and from which facility.
Ask about your location →Non-toxic products, electric routes
We use non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products throughout, we are a California Green Business and a Los Angeles Green Business member, and our California operations run an electric delivery fleet — which clients with their own sustainability reporting can cite.

What is OrangeBag?
OrangeBag is a commercial laundry and linen service founded in Los Angeles in 2017. It provides scheduled pickup and delivery of the linens, towels and uniforms that businesses run on, laundered offsite and returned in full. It serves hotels, spas, salons, gyms, short-term rentals, medical and dental offices, events and institutional clients across five regions.
When was OrangeBag founded, and where?
OrangeBag was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. It owns and operates its plant at 600 N Avalon Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90744, which remains its headquarters and where the operating standard for every market is set.
Why did OrangeBag start?
It started because local businesses — coffee shops, hair salons, gyms and spas — were being pushed into three-to-five-year laundry contracts they could not get out of. OrangeBag was built as the alternative: terms under three years, pricing documented in writing, and programs sized to the business rather than sold from a package.
What does OrangeBag mean by a made-for-you model?
Rather than selling preset packages, OrangeBag sources the linens and towels to suit each client’s operation and builds the schedule around it. What you send, how often it moves, how fast it comes back and how it is finished are all set per account rather than assigned from a tier.
Where does OrangeBag operate?
OrangeBag operates across five regions: California, Texas, Central Florida, Washington DC, and Atlanta. Los Angeles is the headquarters plant, and every other market is served by a facility close to it rather than routed from another state.
Is OrangeBag environmentally certified?
OrangeBag uses non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products across its operations, is a California Green Business and a Los Angeles Green Business member, and runs an electric delivery fleet across its California operations.
